2024-2025 Safe and Inclusive School Planlearning triangle

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focussing on developing peer to peer interactions that promote positive relationships among students.

We are doing this to improve the sense of belonging in our school community and to encourage a greater commitment to our School’s Core Values of respect, kindness, gratitude and inclusion. In turn, students may feel a greater connection to the school and have a greater commitment to consistent attendance.

Key Actions or Strategies

  • Core Values will be taught and celebrated through assemblies, announcements and daily practice.
  • We will continue recognizing behaviours that lead to positive outcomes through our ‘Cobra of the Day’ recognition program.
  • Staff will support students through restorative practices when encountering difficulties with others.

Community and Home Connections

  • Ask your child about the school’s Core Values of respect, gratitude, kindness & inclusion; ask how they are represented at school.
  • Try to encourage your child to reflect on daily interactions and how they can make these better in the future.
